WMF // Alfie Jack

September means only one thing here at Mytacism Music, it’s time for Worcester Music Festival. WMF is a weekend of music in the center of Worcester (obviously) from the 18th till the 20th. But it’s better than being just that, volunteers spend the weekend collecting money for charity (this year for Worcestershire Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Centre) and no matter what venue/artist you go to, you won’t be forced to hand over any currency. So, while we wait for that weekend to approach, what better way to deal with our excitement than to go through every act on the line up and find the very best for you to go and see. And where better to start than at the beginning of the alphabet with the charming Alfie Jack.

WHO: Alfie Jack | WHERE: The Pig & Drum | WHEN: Sat 19th @ 3:55pm

When I said charming, I meant charming. You won’t watch their video for single ‘Captain’ with experiencing some feeling of love towards the two boyish lads. Their music doesn’t help either, it’s irresistibly upbeat and you won’t be able to stop yourself moving to it or singing along to the deliciously rich voice that holds all of the reins. If a recording of their music can make you feel this way then God only knows how good they’ll be live, they really are ones to keep your eyes peeled for.
