September means only one thing here at Mytacism Music, it’s time for Worcester Music Festival. WMF is a weekend of music in the center of Worcester (obviously) from the 18th till the 20th. But it’s better than being just that, volunteers spend the weekend collecting money for charity (this year for Worcestershire Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Centre) and no matter what venue/artist you go to, you won’t be forced to hand over any currency. So, while we wait for that weekend to approach, what better way to deal with our excitement than to go through every act on the line up and find the very best for you to go and see. Pink Violence is the intrigue group I’d like to introduce you to for today.
WHO: Pink Violence | WHERE: The Firefly | WHEN: Sat 19th @ 10:30pm
As anyone who knows me will know, I am a complete sucker for synthed up tunes full of experimental sounds and something unique. So then, it’s no surprise that I have fallen in love with Pink Violence who ticks every single box. They sound a bit like early days Metronomy but with a a hell of a lot more order and a lot more electronic elements. They are wizards of the decks, creating magic with a few buttons and sliders, putting you in a secluded enchantment that you’d hate to leave. Welcome to Pink Violence.
