Review: Screamershock // Flying Carpets

Sometimes, instrumentals can be hard to get your teeth into. However, there is one guy you can count on to make it easy to appreciate music’s raw power, he goes by the name Screamershock. Despite the impeccably fresh, youthful feel that leaks out of his music, the master behind the electronic project is actually 52 but, as his bio says, he still does have the time to make it to number 1.

One of our favourite tracks of his has to be ‘Flying Carpets’. The track expands and manipulates itself, meaning any listener would be forgiven for feeling as though they had be sucked into the depths of a black hole. As the song snakes out of your speakers, you’ll be hypnotized – ‘Flying Carpets’ wielding a secret weapon that sedates you as it journeys through your ears.
